Opening show 26th October
‘To be continued…’ by painter and sculptor Tom Lomax, is primarily concerned with the creative digital processes that are the central focus of his work. This recent series of digital paintings and sculpture have been inspired by the light, colour and tone that digital processes afford. To this he ports his other fascination, the visual manipulation of the abstract nature of Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometries to create, via allusion, paradigms of inner realities and emotions. He invites the viewer to participate by reflection and self-experience to perceive the objects and explore their parallel universes or states of being…
‘To be continued…’ affirms continuity and continuation with something that has passed and alludes to the commitment and speculation of what might be, a state of mind and practice which is intuitively aware of similarity at the point of differentiation.
“Tom Lomax’s new sculptures and pictures enchant me. Dizzyingly colourful, cheeky, seeming impossible, playful. These 2-D and 3-D images can only be imagined in the specific form in which they are realised and brought to life- the intellectual imagination embodied and materialised via a wonderfully permissive digital universe”.
Michèle Roberts: writer, novelist, poet and broadcaster.

He regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions as well as in a number of solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
